How we look after your car
What happens on every wash, where the water goes afterwards, and why the steam clean comes twice a year and not more.
A wash doesn’t end with the water running into the drain. We collect it, filter it and use it again, so every wash needs less fresh water. On wipe days no running water is used at all.
Collect
The water that runs off the vehicle during a wash is caught, not left to drain away.
Filter
It is filtered to take out the dirt, grit and grime it carried off the vehicle.
Store
The filtered water is stored, ready for the next washes.
Reuse
It goes back into later washes, so each wash draws less fresh water.
We clean with professional car-care chemicals made for vehicle paint, glass and tyres, not household detergent, so dirt comes off without dulling the finish or drying out the rubber.
Steam lifts the dirt, stains and stale smells that build up in seats, mats, the dashboard and door panels. It is included free in every car and SUV plan: on one of your wash days, your cleaner does the full wash and then the steam clean, and you see it in your app beforehand.
Why not more often? Steam works with heat and moisture. Too much of it is hard on fabric, leather and the electronics around the dashboard, so twice a year is the right balance.

Questions
A full water wash cleans the whole body, glass, mirrors, rims and tyres with water. A waterless wipe removes the day's dust from the body and glass with a spray and clean microfibre cloths, using no running water. On plans with wipes, a wash day's wash replaces that day's wipe, so it is one visit, not two.
Every car and SUV plan includes one every 6 months. The first comes on your first wash day 6 months after your plan starts, then every 6 months after that. We schedule it automatically: that visit is your normal full wash plus the steam clean, and it shows in your app beforehand. There is no charge for it.
Steam works with heat and moisture. Done too often, it is hard on fabric, leather, foam and the electronics around the dashboard. Twice a year keeps the cabin fresh without wearing it out; the daily or weekly visits keep the outside clean in between.
Open the Kleaners app and tap Quick Wash. If a cleaner is free near your society, you see the price and a promised time: within 60 minutes, or within 30 minutes for an Express fee. If no cleaner can make that time, we don't offer it. If an Express wash arrives late, the Express fee goes back to your wallet automatically.
